Charlotte Venn – Baker
Before starting my business, I worked as a manager for an independent coffee shop, where I gained valuable experience in running day-to-day operations and leading a team. I chose to become self-employed because my partner and I have four children between us, and I’m also studying for a degree in English Literature with the Open University. Being self-employed gives me the flexibility to fit work around school drop-offs and pick-ups, as well as my studies. Although I’m only just starting out, I’ve already found the webinars incredibly useful. They’ve provided practical insights and helpful guidance. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience so far. The support has been reassuring, and having someone to bounce ideas off and get advice from has made the process feel much more manageable and encouraging.
