Kieran Dunne Launches Tokay Tours — A Business Rooted in Connection and Purpose

We’re proud to share that Kieran Dunne, founder of Tokay Tours, has now officially launched his travel business with support from Momentic and the Restart Programme.

Kieran’s journey to launch has been shaped by longstanding connections and a deep sense of purpose. After volunteering in Thailand to support recovery efforts following the tsunami, Kieran formed a meaningful friendship with Add — a local tour operator who offered incredible support to the volunteer community at the time.

Years later, during a return visit to mark the 20-year anniversary of the disaster, Kieran and Add began to explore the idea of working together — and from those conversations, Tokay Tours was born. With Add having already rebuilt her business in Thailand, Tokay Tours aims to promote and support her tours through a UK-based travel agency that prioritises community, sustainability, and cultural exchange.

Since joining the Restart Programme, Kieran has shown remarkable tenacity and commitment — attending every workshop available, from business planning and marketing to finance and social media. Although he joined with many elements of his plan already in motion, he’s taken every opportunity to build his knowledge and refine his offer.

Tokay Tours is now live, offering bespoke travel experiences in Thailand that go beyond the typical tourist trail. With Restart also supporting access to a new computer, the business is well-placed to grow – driven by a passion for authentic, ethical travel and built on real human connection.
