The Business Advisor will work with a wide range of potential small business owners and sole traders to help them start and grow their business. Responsible for a caseload, the Business Advisor will manage clients through a business start-up programme, identifying the support required to improve their confidence/knowledge or remove barriers to progression. Business Advisors will assess the support clients will need and help them navigate a wide range of available provision, building a rapport to maintain engagement on the programme and coaching them to succeed. Key to the role is also developing and managing the relationships with the referral organisations and their staff to generate suitable and appropriate referrals to the programme.
The key benefits of this role include a salary of between £28,000 and £35,000 per annum, with 25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays). Each year of service will accrue an additional day’s holiday up to a maximum of 30 days. There will be provision of a laptop and mobile phone to allow for agile mobile working. A pension scheme is also available, contributed to by Momentic.

Self-Employment Support Co-ordinator
Self-Employment Support Coordinators will act as professional points of contact with clients following the initial set up their own business, dealing with any enquiries and supporting clients to sustain in self-employment through appropriately tailored advice.
As a Self-Employment Coordinator you will provide regular tracking and delivery of post-start up support for clients. This support includes keeping in regular contact with the client over the phone, delivering 1:1 mentoring, identifying barriers to sustained self-employment and putting in place actions to remove these. This may include referring to local support services or additional in-house progression activities/learning. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate clients and maintain client engagement.
The key benefits of this role include a salary of between £21,000 and £25,000 per annum, with 25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays). Each year of service will accrue an additional days holiday up to a maximum of 30 days. There will be provision of a laptop and mobile phone to allow for agile mobile working. A pension scheme is also available, contributed to by Momentic.
