Marketing & Social Media Manager

The Marketing & Social-Media Manager role and responsibilities are focused on the development of a marketing and social media plan, implementing the objectives, actioning the deliverables and managing strategies for this plan, including the social media accounts of the business.

You will work with the Chief Executive Officer to agree the marketing strategy monthly and act as the marketing professional point of contact for the company, with a targeted focus on our ‘Start & Grow’ Business Start-up and Growth provision in the City of York. This will be achieved through relationship-based approaches, both internally and externally, to ensure these local strategies are met and aligned to our national plans. The competency of this role determines how effectively the business will be able to portray its brand value, along with our commissioning partners (e.g. The City of York Council), through its marketing approaches and engage with both customers and stakeholders alike.

This role will provide a 360-degree comprehensive marketing service for Momentic, aligning and working closely with our Partners in the City of York business support ecosystem, which is predominantly a digital first strategy. This will include managing and implementing Momentic’s marketing and brand strategies (e.g. Start & Grow), promotions, campaigns, internal and external communications, PR, planning and projects in support of business plan strategies and targets. You will deliver the short and long-term engagement strategies for both internal and external markets and be responsible for the development of the social media strategy, content development both on and offline, managing customer data and all internal employee engagement.

You will need to have excellent copywriting skills to continually produce customer case studies, online marketing material and content for specific campaigns. You will be confident, proactive and ambitious with the ability to dynamically engage with stakeholders at all levels and from varied backgrounds.

You will have strong attention to detail and creative flair with experience of both Online and Offline marketing channels. Prior experience with digital photography, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and video editing is highly advantageous.

This role is all about helping to build and protect Momentic’s and partner brand and reputation through relevant, timely and targeted content and messages to our markets, stakeholders, customers and staff.

Working within budget to acquire new clients, retain and develop the existing client base and add value and contribute to the achievement of contractual targets.
