Momentic has over 25 years of experience in delivering self-employment and business start-up programmes to a range of audiences. We have played a crucial part in the delivery of the government’s ‘flagship’ self-employment programme NEA since its inception in 2011.

Our team members have delivered full self-employment advice, training and qualification models in over 30 contracts ( including New Deal, FND, Work Programme, New Enterprise Allowance (NEA), Probation, Prisons and now Restart). Our team consists of experienced business advisers, all who have extensive experience of running their own business and have an intrinsic understanding of self-employment.

Following an initial assessment of a business idea and the clients suitability for a scheme, we will enrol them on to our self-employment service. They will receive pre-start support, comprising of a mix of one-to-one support with their own dedicated business adviser, group workshops to learn about key elements of business and ongoing virtual or face-to-face support.
