Tara is a talented interior designer known for delivering high-end, quality services. She sought guidance from her Momentic Business Adviser, Kate, during a pivotal moment in her career. Tara had recently finished filming for an Interior Design Reality show set to air on prime-time Channel 4.

In their initial meeting, Tara and Kate reviewed Tara’s detailed business plan. Tara identified a specific need for support in marketing skills, including training and practical assistance. With the TV show launch approaching, Tara aimed to capitalize on the publicity by enhancing her social media presence. She attended marketing workshops, which not only boosted her confidence but also helped her craft an effective marketing strategy.

Through Momentic’s business growth program, Tara seized networking opportunities. She connected with Remus, a photographer and fellow Momentic client, and they arranged a skill swap: Remus provided professional photography services in exchange for Tara’s interior design plan for a room in his house. Additionally, Tara met Alexandra, another Momentic client specializing in social media management, and they agreed on a similar trade-off.

Of her experience, Tara said:

Having the 121 support from my business advisor helped me fine-tune my ideas.  We met regularly and reviewed progress.  I loved the fact that I could ask any questions even if I thought they were silly and I would get the guidance I needed. The webinars have been invaluable and have given me the confidence and strategic direction I needed.  I had no idea how to write a business plan or create a marketing campaign and these workshops gave me all the information I needed.  I’ve got the vision and the creativity and now I’ve got the knowledge about the business side I feel really empowered.
